The Chioggia Fish Festival, established in 1938, is one of the most eagerly awaited folk and culinary events in the Veneto region.
For ten evenings, in the splendid setting of Chioggia’s historic centre, you can sample typical local dishes at stalls set up by local associations, which will delight you with classic recipes such as ‘saor’, mixed fried fish with polenta, ‘bibarasse in cassopipa’, stewed cuttlefish with polenta and the ever-present grilled fish
