The Chioggia Fish Festival, established in 1938, is one of the most eagerly awaited folkloristic and gastronomic events in the Veneto region.
For ten evenings, in the splendid setting of the historic centre of Chioggia, you can taste the typical dishes of the local cuisine at the stands set up by the local associations that will delight you with the most classic recipes such as ‘saor’, mixed fried fish with polenta, ‘bibarasse in cassopipa’, stewed cuttlefish with polenta, and the ever-present grilled fish.
